An experienced and trade-qualified Automotive Technician is needed for a busy franchise dealership in Whangarei, Northland. Key responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer specifications
- Identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently
- Complete job cards and related records clearly and correctly
- Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team
- Ensure all tasks meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Help maintain a positive, productive workshop environment
About you
You should be a qualified Automotive Technician with solid workshop experience, ideally across Japanese brands such as Nissan, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Mazda. Strong diagnostic ability, a practical approach to fault-finding, and the capacity to stay effective in a busy environment are important.
The right person will be a team player with a professional manner, a strong work ethic, and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. Experience in a franchise dealership is an advantage.
