Role overview
WSP is seeking a Project Management Team Lead for its Property & Buildings group in Auckland. This role offers a leadership platform within the Auckland Projects team and combines team management, client engagement, business growth, and project leadership.

Key responsibilities
- Guide and motivate a high-performing project management team.
- Use business development capability to win new work and strengthen current client relationships.
- Support the national sector lead with project management strategy and planning.
- Take the lead on bids within the project management function.
- Oversee project direction and day-to-day management.
Candidate profile
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification.
- Bring ideally at least 10 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Hold a current, clean driver’s licence.
- Have Prince2, PMP, or another recognized industry certification.
- Demonstrate a strong track record and solid technical expertise.
- Be familiar with applicable New Zealand standards, legislation, and working practices.
- Have experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.
