About the Team
This position sits within the monetization and Brand Solutions function. The team drives advertising income and revenue growth for Myntra by building solutions for partner brands. It focuses on creating visibility and ROI opportunities across the app, website, and social channels through innovative brand offerings and performance-driven formats.
Role Overview
The role is responsible for managing monetization performance for an assigned category, developing brand opportunities, and coordinating execution with internal teams to deliver revenue targets and reduce gaps between planned and actual outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of monthly monetization goals for the assigned category.
- Build a strong brand pipeline and convert prospects into monetization partnerships at a healthy rate.
- Prepare and refresh pitch decks for the category and targeted brands on an ongoing basis.
- Develop detailed media plans aligned to each brand’s planned spend.
- Coordinate with internal teams to execute monetization plans end to end, including ad delivery, reporting, and related work.
- Create monthly target plans, compare them with actual performance, and resolve gaps quickly.
- Identify potential issues early, raise them promptly, and work toward solutions that protect the target numbers.
- Run monthly review discussions with key brands to surface gaps and plan corrective actions for future months.
- Follow internal processes closely and keep escalations to a minimum.
- Collaborate with the wider team on shared projects and initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with accounts and support growth of their business on the Myntra platform.
- Ensure all billed monetization activity is properly accrued and revenue leakage is minimized.
Requirements
- MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college.
- Total work experience of 1 to 3 years.
- At least 1 year of mandatory experience in business development or sales for a digital company.
- Prior exposure to the e-commerce industry is preferred.
- Strong alignment with Myntra’s values and working style.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new areas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and proactive in ownership.
- Go-getter mindset with strong persistence.
