Role overview
This opportunity is suited to someone with 3 to 4 years of hands-on audit and assurance experience in a Chartered Accounting setting, along with a professional qualification such as CA or an equivalent credential.
What you will do
- Share audit findings clearly and turn them into practical recommendations or actions.
- Examine and critique written advice, reports, memoranda, and other client deliverables.
- Use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support or influence client strategy.
- Recognise audit and risk advisory matters and respond to complex stakeholder needs.
- Build productive relationships and communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Provide excellent client service while working collaboratively across teams and locations.
What we are looking for
- 3 to 4 years of audit experience in a corporate Chartered Accounting environment.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and the broader NZ and international accounting standards landscape.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills.
- Solid project management capability.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute effectively in a team.
- Strong research and problem-solving ability.
