Role Summary
The company is looking for an ADNOC-approved Inspector to contribute to offshore oil and gas projects in the UAE. This position requires hands-on experience in offshore fabrication and installation work, especially on jackets, decks, and structural assemblies, with strict adherence to ADNOC requirements and project specifications.
What You Will Do
- Carry out inspection work in line with ADNOC rules, project requirements, and approved inspection and test plans.
- Inspect offshore structural items such as jackets, decks, and related steel structures.
- Check fabrication quality, welding, fit-up, alignment, and dimensional accuracy.
- Confirm that quality, safety, and client expectations are being met.
- Examine drawings, welding procedure specifications, method statements, and quality records before inspections begin.
- Observe testing activities and make sure records are completed and submitted correctly.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams, contractors, and ADNOC representatives.
- Produce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports.
Requirements
- Must hold ADNOC Inspector approval.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the same capacity.
- Practical background in jacket, deck, and structural fabrication and installation.
- Good understanding of ADNOC requirements and international codes such as AWS, ASME, and ISO.
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a similar field.
- Strong ability to prepare reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively.
- Must be ready to work offshore and deliver within project deadlines.
