Role Summary
This is a full-time remote admissions role for a counselor who will help prospective learners understand Skillofy_AI programs and move smoothly through the enrollment process. The position calls for handling incoming queries, carrying out discovery conversations, understanding individual goals, and suggesting the most suitable learning path across technical and non-technical options.
What the Role Involves
- Respond to questions from prospective learners and offer prompt, clear guidance.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand goals, background, and program fit.
- Recommend appropriate courses and learning tracks based on candidate needs.
- Follow up consistently with leads and support them through admissions steps.
- Explain program format, fees, and expected outcomes in an easy-to-understand way.
- Help applicants complete the required enrollment formalities.
- Maintain accurate updates and records in CRM systems.
- Work closely with academic and marketing teams as needed.
- Contribute to admissions goals while ensuring a helpful and positive candidate experience.
Qualifications
- Strong people-facing communication skills and the ability to connect well with different types of learners.
- Customer service mindset with a patient, supportive, and responsive approach.
- Comfort with consultative sales conversations and ethical lead conversion.
- Exposure to education, student guidance, counseling, or training environments.
- Useful experience in admissions, counseling, CRM tools, and remote-work platforms.
- Good organization, time management, and follow-through.
- Interest in AI, technology, and career development.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required, including coordination across time zones.
