Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports and keep accounting records up to date.
- Review budget-to-actual variances and create presentations for management.
- Support the preparation of the company’s annual budget.
- Carry out reconciliations for bank, employee, and other accounts.
- Handle VAT compliance activities and ensure returns are submitted on time.
- Manage receivables by issuing SOAs, tracking collections, and maintaining precise transaction records.
- Liaise with banks and coordinate with internal teams as required.
- Compile schedules and backup documentation for interim and year-end audits.
- Follow internal controls, company procedures, and authority delegation guidelines.
- Maintain ledger accuracy through routine reviews and escalate discrepancies to management.
Requirements
- B.Com, M.Com, or CA Inter qualification.
- Strong grounding in accounting with solid analytical and troubleshooting ability.
- Comfortable using MS Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Meticulous, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with ERP platforms is useful; Orion exposure is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of VAT rules and compliance requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
