About the Role
Ideagen is hiring an Account Executive to help expand its customer base by generating your own pipeline, nurturing trusted relationships, and converting prospects into new business. This position is best suited to someone who is proactive, commercially minded, and motivated by winning new logos.
Team and Function
Function: Global Sales
Department: New Business
Working pattern: Hybrid, full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a defined market or territory and take full ownership of acquiring new customers.
- Develop and sustain a healthy pipeline through direct outreach, follow-up on inbound interest, referrals, and targeted account activity.
- Run the entire sales process from first conversation through to signed contract.
- Lead discovery discussions to uncover client needs, challenges, and business objectives.
- Deliver product demonstrations tailored to the customer, with a clear focus on value and return on investment.
- Prepare commercial proposals, handle negotiations, and close strong-quality deals.
- Keep CRM records accurate, including pipeline updates, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
- Consistently meet and surpass monthly and quarterly new-business targets.
- Develop strong connections with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target accounts.
- Stay current on market movement, customer pain points, and competitor activity.
- Share useful customer and market feedback with sales, product, and marketing teams to drive ongoing improvement.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated success in securing new business in sales or business development roles.
- Track record of winning net-new customers in a B2B environment.
- Comfort operating across the full sales cycle in a consultative or complex sales setting.
- Strong ability in prospecting, uncovering needs, presenting solutions, and closing deals.
- Confidence when engaging senior stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Highly self-motivated, persistent, and target-driven.
- Ability to manage several opportunities at once while maintaining momentum through longer sales cycles.
- Advantageous: experience selling SaaS, working in competitive markets, or understanding metrics such as ARR and MRR.
