About the role
Brandwatch, part of Cision, is looking for an Account Executive to join its sales team in New Zealand. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and managing pipeline, engaging prospective customers, and moving qualified opportunities through the full sales journey to a successful close. The role sits within a global organization focused on helping brands build meaningful connections through communication, social media intelligence, and marketing technology.

What you will do
- Represent Brandwatch as the first contact point for prospective customers.
- Keep current with industry developments and stay informed about the social media landscape.
- Develop strong knowledge of the brand, business, and SaaS product offering.
- Manage the complete sales process across New Zealand, from first outreach to final deal closure.
- Use tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Cognism, and similar platforms to source leads and build relationships.
- Conduct discovery conversations, product demonstrations, and commercial negotiations.
- Carry out around 120 targeted outbound prospecting actions each week to help advance and win opportunities.
- Track, maintain, and progress a healthy sales pipeline through every stage of the cycle.
- Participate in training and development initiatives.
What you should bring
- Proven experience handling the full sales cycle from start to finish.
- Background selling multiple products to mid-market and enterprise clients, including familiarity with procurement processes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- A driven, resilient, and positive approach with the ability to exceed targets.
- Ownership mindset and the ability to execute tasks reliably.
- Coachable attitude and self-awareness.
- Comfort working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to succeed in a quota-driven setting with longer and more complex sales cycles.
- Experience managing and closing deals.
