Role Overview
This position supports Meituan/Keemart’s weak current engineering work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role combines project management, technical coordination, and ongoing operations support for stores and warehouses, with coverage that may extend to other cities and countries in the Middle East and Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project cycle for overseas self-operated retail and warehouse weak current work, from planning and design through construction, inspection, and handover.
- Oversee weak current drawing design, construction supervision, project tracking, and later engineering maintenance for newly opened sites in Riyadh.
- Coordinate broadband activation, resistance clearance, and long-term broadband resource procurement for stores and warehouses.
- Support the rollout and stable operation of IT equipment in stores and warehouses after launch.
- Work with internal and local resources to troubleshoot equipment failures and provide technical support for IT-related issues.
- Handle engineering quality, schedule control, supplier coordination, and service outcomes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
- Maintain and support retail and warehouse IT desktops and IoT hardware such as PDAs, computers, printers, CCTV systems, access control devices, and temperature and humidity sensors.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment including firewalls, switches, and access points, while understanding routing and wireless protocols.
- Participate in 24/7 operations and maintenance support, resolving issues such as network outages, terminal failures, and abnormal IoT hardware behavior.
- Provide remote or on-site support to keep warehouse and store IT infrastructure operating normally.
- Assist with international project needs, including drawing design, remote IT event management, and follow-up for projects in other Middle Eastern and Latin American locations.
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills are required; Arabic and Chinese are preferred.
- Applicants should be respectful of and able to adapt to local Muslim cultural customs.
- A college degree or higher is required, ideally in computer science, communication engineering, system integration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a weak current project manager or IT support specialist is needed.
- CISCO or Huawei network certification is preferred.
- Ability to create drawings, complete weak current design work, and carry out implementation is required.
- Solid understanding of basic network device principles, along with strong fault diagnosis and troubleshooting ability, is expected.
- Hands-on IT desktop support and operations/maintenance capability is required.
- Candidates must be willing to work long-term in Saudi Arabia and provide on-site support when project milestones, warehouse needs, or broader regional deployments require it.
- Flexibility for project-based scheduling, compensatory leave, and occasional 7×24 support is necessary.
- Applicants should demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and willingness to respond quickly to urgent repairs or project tasks.
- A valid KSA local driver’s license is required.
- Having a personal vehicle is preferred.
