Visual Designer

About the Role

This full-time, on-site Visual Designer role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The position is with Noteshelf, a widely used digital note-taking app that serves students, working professionals, and creators through thoughtfully crafted notebooks, planners, templates, and stationery.

You will join a creative team focused on building visually engaging digital products and supporting a brand experience that feels polished, useful, and inspiring for users around the world. The work centers on stationery design, illustration, and visual storytelling, with opportunities to influence both product content and promotional creatives.

What You’ll Do

• Create digital stationery assets such as planners, journals, notebooks, stickers, covers, and templates.
• Develop custom illustrations, vector graphics, and other artwork for in-app experiences and marketing materials.
• Study design trends, stationery styles, and user preferences to generate fresh product concepts.
• Work closely with product, content, and marketing teams to turn creative ideas into finished assets.
• Design visuals for app promotions, social media posts, app store pages, and user engagement campaigns.
• Keep all output aligned with Noteshelf’s visual standards and design style.
• Support ideation sessions and help uncover new opportunities to grow the digital stationery range.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Figma.
• Strong illustration and sketching ability, with hands-on experience in digital art tools such as Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or similar software.
• Capability to create original vector artwork using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or comparable applications.
• Clear content writing and strong visual communication skills.
• Solid grasp of core design principles, including composition, typography, color, and layout.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and deliver on deadlines in a busy work environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating illustration, visual design, or digital product work.

Nice to Have

• Video editing experience using tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, or equivalent software.
• Previous work creating assets for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
• Familiarity with digital note-taking, journaling, or productivity applications.
• Exposure to AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.
