Role overview

This permanent, full-time Vehicle Technician position is based at Ellesmere Port Vauxhall in Ellesmere Port, England. The workshop team is looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to work alongside experienced colleagues and contribute to the service department by carrying out inspections, servicing, and repair work to a high standard.

You will report to the Aftersales Manager and receive support, training, and development opportunities, including manufacturer-accredited learning and Hybrid & Electric training. The role is open to qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced mechanics from either a dealer network or an independent garage.

Working hours and pay

The role is scheduled for 40 hours a week, worked Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Earnings include an on-target package of up to £52,480 with no cap, made up of a basic salary between £28,000 and £43,000 depending on qualifications, plus a £3,000 productivity bonus and a Time Saved Bonus scheme.
