Utility Worker

Role overview

TRIO Community Meals is hiring a full-time Utility Worker in Marksville, Louisiana. This onsite position sits within the Community Meals segment and is centered on supporting sanitation activities and helping coordinate tasks through to completion.

What you'll do

• Clean floors and dining tables, and help keep shared meal-service areas tidy.
• Refill dining-area supplies as needed.
• Collect waste and dispose of it properly.
• Receive incoming inventory and place stock where it belongs.
• Wash, sanitize, and maintain dishes, utensils, cooking tools, the dish room, and related equipment.

What the employer is seeking

The role calls for someone who uses safe work practices and good judgment, and who can stay productive when working alone or alongside a team. Experience in food service or a maintenance-related position is preferred.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $10.00 to $12.00 per hour.
