  • Take ownership of health and safety awareness on site and escalate any unsafe practice or rule breaches to the Site Manager.
  • Make sure that any fixed materials are protected by the subcontractor installing them, following the relevant procedures.
  • Ensure protective coverings remain in place for as long as possible and inform the Site Manager if anyone removes or damages them permanently.
  • Maintain the compound area and welfare facilities so they remain orderly and usable.
  • Support a tidy working environment by ensuring plots under construction are kept clean by all trades.
  • Inspect plots under construction every day and remove surplus materials from the area.
  • Separate and recycle site waste in line with group guidelines.
  • Review show home gardens and public open spaces weekly and clear any litter that has blown into those areas.
