Role Overview
As a Project Manager at IMDA, you will oversee multiple projects spanning various technology domains. Your key responsibilities include ensuring projects meet milestones and fostering collaboration between industry development and technology teams. You will provide regular updates to senior leadership and help drive success in areas such as quantum computing, AI, and trust technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor progress across multiple projects and teams, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment between industry development and technology groups.
- Maintain detailed project schedules, statuses, and reports that serve as primary information sources for all stakeholders.
- Conduct and lead regular cadence meetings to inform senior leadership about progress, hurdles, and accomplishments.
- Identify obstacles in project execution and proactively develop solutions to overcome them.
- Implement and manage project management tools and processes to improve team efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of five years’ experience managing projects, ideally within a fast-paced technology environment.
- Highly organized with the capacity to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at bridging technical and non-technical teams.
- Proficient with project management tools and methodologies, emphasizing tracking and short-term project oversight.
- Experience fostering collaboration between diverse teams, particularly between business development and technology functions.
- Quick comprehension and synthesis of complex technical topics for reporting.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset toward resolving project challenges.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and understanding their business impacts is beneficial.
- Adaptability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
