Role Overview
As a Project Engineer, you will support the deployment and customer use of Energy Solutions pipeline modeling software. The position focuses on implementing tailored software solutions, setting up and optimizing pipeline modeling systems, and helping clients get the most value from the product through consulting and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Build customized software solutions using Energy Solutions pipeline modeling tools.
- Set up, install, configure, and tune pipeline modeling systems for client environments.
- Deliver training to customer operators on Energy Solutions software applications and related technology at client locations.
- Review project needs and compare them with the product’s technical capabilities.
- Offer consulting support and product training to clients.
- Travel frequently for on-site client work.

Requirements
- A degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience in pipeline development or operations.
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in pipeline operations, pipeline construction, pipeline software, pipeline hydraulics, pipeline modeling, or leak detection systems.
- Working knowledge of software applications and systems.
- Strong understanding of pipeline hydraulics.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills for customer support.
- Programming knowledge in C/C++ and Fortran is an added advantage.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to SCADA systems, instrumentation, and process control.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration abilities.
- Understanding of natural gas marketing and transportation is beneficial.
- Experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred.
