Role Overview
Sharaf DG Energy is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to manage purchasing, supplier coordination, logistics support, and project-related documentation for lighting and energy projects in Dubai.
Procurement Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of materials and ensure purchasing activities are aligned with project needs.
- Log all purchase orders and contracts in the renewal management system.
- Complete supplier onboarding and registration activities.
- Set up supplier payment methods and commercial terms.
- Create material part numbers and codes in the system.
- Ensure materials are procured and delivered according to LPO or contract schedules.
- Negotiate pricing, procurement terms, and discounts with vendors.
- Issue LPOs and support payment release to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Submit invoices to customers and approve supplier and subcontractor invoices as required.
- Coordinate with the finance team to align supplier and customer payment terms.
Logistics Responsibilities
- Plan the movement of materials and shipments to and from project sites within the UAE.
- Prepare inquiries, negotiate with freight forwarders, and arrange shipments.
- Monitor incoming materials and update the sales team and project managers on status.
- Notify customers or warehouse teams when materials arrive.
- Organize deliveries to warehouse or site in line with INCOTERMS.
- Support project managers in scheduling and vendor coordination for deliveries.
- Maintain a region-wise database of freight forwarders.
- Visit the Sharaf warehouse periodically and keep stock records up to date.
Additional Duties
- Prepare lighting project estimates and designs using tools such as DIALux, AGI 32, SketchUp, 3D modeling software, and AutoCAD.
- Support preparation of material submittals and compliance statements for projects.
- Maintain records and documentation covering estimation, procurement, and logistics for projects and LPOs.
- Follow up on warranty claims and coordinate replacement arrangements.
- Manage spare parts stock and oversee stock maintenance.
- Process sample orders and arrange delivery to site.
- Keep quarterly records of manufacturer products.
- Carry out site visits when technical discussions are required with the project manager and sales manager.
- Conduct energy audits at site when applicable.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics, Electrical, or an equivalent discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in the lighting industry.
- Comfortable working with computers across a range of business tasks.
- Strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of MS Projects or Primavera, DIALux, AutoCAD, EVO, and AGI32.
- Solid understanding of procurement workflows, vendor coordination, and supply chain processes.
- Experience sourcing materials for solar systems, lighting products, electrical components, and energy-related solutions.
- Ability to evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, and close purchase orders.
- Familiarity with solar products such as panels, inverters, batteries, mounting structures, and cables, along with LED lighting products.
- Strong coordination skills for working with suppliers, warehouses, logistics teams, and project teams.
- Exposure to ERP platforms, procurement systems, and inventory tracking tools.
- Experience in a lighting division will be considered an advantage.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The position combines procurement, logistics, documentation, and project support responsibilities, with a strong focus on lighting and energy-related materials.
