About the Company
CarterPierce is working with a leading multi-strategy investment firm that backs enduring, category-shaping companies in Clean Energy, Climate Technology, Food & Agriculture, and Infrastructure. The organization supports businesses bringing innovative solutions to market that improve efficiency, strengthen resilience, and create long-term value in essential parts of the global economy. It provides flexible growth capital along with active strategic guidance.
The firm manages roughly $3 billion in assets and is currently deploying capital from its $1 billion flagship growth fund. It is known for a highly collaborative environment, deep sector specialization, and compact investment teams that give Associates substantial ownership and direct access to senior investment leaders. The firm is looking to add Associates to its investment team soon.
Locations available for this opportunity include San Francisco, CA and Chicago, IL.
Responsibilities
- Research markets and analyze trends to surface potential investment opportunities.
- Develop financial models to assess investment returns and performance scenarios.
- Support the due diligence workstream for prospective investments.
- Draft investment memoranda and presentation materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Work alongside portfolio companies to help advance value-creation initiatives.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting is preferred.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort working with quantitative data.
- Hands-on experience with financial modeling and valuation methods.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Ability to contribute effectively in a collaborative team setting.
- Familiarity with Clean Energy, Climate Technology, Food & Agriculture, or Infrastructure sectors.
