Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of payroll administration for multiple clients, including payroll execution, audits, schedule management, year-end balancing, statutory remittances, filing, and related reporting by following standard operating procedures.
  • Act as a payroll knowledge resource by providing accurate statutory guidance to clients, including payroll tax filing information, and by using internal knowledge bases, reference materials, and approved websites to resolve issues.
  • Partner with technical support teams, production groups, and other service hubs when needed to troubleshoot problems, find solutions, and improve processes.
  • Share observations, suggestions, and feedback on products, issues, workflows, and procedures to support efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the National Payroll Institute designation requirements, attend mandatory departmental training, and continue building payroll expertise.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience processing Canadian payroll.
  • At least 5 years of client service experience.
  • Strong proficiency with the internet and Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
