About ISRM Group
ISRM Group, previously known as ISRM Technologies, is a privately owned UK-based company that works in information risk management and forensic services. The firm helps clients assess how information is exposed across varied systems and environments so they can better understand and lower their risk. It also delivers forensic investigation support for organizations dealing with security incidents. The team handles complex, mixed infrastructures and data, contributing to impactful work in information security and risk management.
Role overview
This is a remote contract opportunity for a Network Analyst based in Australia. The position focuses on keeping network infrastructure running efficiently, reliably, and securely across client environments. The role includes maintaining network devices and configurations, investigating and fixing connectivity or performance problems, and assisting with network-related incident reviews.
Key responsibilities
The Network Analyst will work closely with security and forensic specialists to apply network security controls, capture and explain technical findings, and support both internal teams and external clients. The role also requires maintaining accurate records of network changes, operating procedures, and incident outcomes.
Required qualifications
Applicants should bring a strong background in network administration and network infrastructure, including hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Good troubleshooting and technical support abilities are needed to identify, solve, and document issues in varied environments. A solid understanding of network security practices, such as configuration control, access management, and network protection measures, is also important.
Technical knowledge
Experience with TCP/IP, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, and network monitoring utilities such as Wireshark or SNMP-based tools is an advantage. Strong analytical thinking, clear documentation habits, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup while coordinating with cross-functional teams are essential. Professional certifications like CompTIA Network+ or CCNA are preferred, though equivalent practical experience may also be considered. Prior exposure to information risk management or forensic investigations would be beneficial.
