Role Overview

This position is for a .NET Production Support professional who can manage application and database support activities across multiple Indian locations, including Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Bangalore, Indore, and Kolkata. The role calls for 5 to 8 years of relevant experience and focuses on supporting .NET applications, SQL Server environments, and incident resolution.

Technical Expectations

The ideal candidate should bring strong hands-on capability in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, along with practical experience in ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs. The role also requires solid SQL Server skills, including query writing, stored procedure handling, and performance tuning. Familiarity with incident tracking platforms such as ServiceNow or JIRA, plus a good working understanding of Windows Server and IIS, is important.

Preferred Exposure

Additional value will come from experience in agile delivery environments, familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to use PowerShell for automation tasks.

Responsibilities

The selected professional will provide L2 and L3 support for .NET applications and SQL Server databases, monitor system health and application performance, and work to meet SLA commitments while resolving incidents. The role includes investigating root causes, applying durable fixes for repeat issues, managing incident, problem, and change workflows, supporting releases and post-release checks, and keeping support documentation and knowledge articles up to date.
