Role overview

This opening is for a Kitchen Porter to join the busy Back of House team and support the kitchens across the resort. The position is central to keeping kitchen operations running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, preparing equipment for chefs, and helping manage waste and hygiene standards.

Key duties

• Keep kitchen areas clean and orderly.
• Wash pots, dishes, and other kitchen items.
• Clean floors and handle waste disposal appropriately.
• Make sure chefs have the tools and equipment they need when they need them.
• Help keep the kitchen operational through regular cleaning and upkeep of porter equipment.

What you need

To succeed in this job, you should bring energy, reliability, and the ability to communicate clearly with the kitchen team. A basic understanding of food hygiene is important, along with the flexibility to work a range of shifts and start and finish on time.

• Positive, enthusiastic approach to work.
• Reasonable English communication skills.
• Ability to work varied shifts and maintain dependable attendance.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices.
• Comfort using kitchen porter tools and equipment, including cleaning and maintaining them.

Working hours and pay

This is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week.

Salary is £27,616.38 plus tronc.
