Kitchen Porter

Role overview

Wagamama is built around fresh ingredients and made-to-order dishes, and the kitchen porter plays a key support role in keeping the back-of-house area clean, orderly, and efficient. This evening and weekend position helps the kitchen team stay focused on preparing bold, flavourful food by making sure the workspace is ready for service.

Key duties

• Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised kitchen throughout service.
• Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment so the chefs can keep working without interruption.
• Top up cleaning products and let the team know when supplies are getting low.
• Assist with simple prep tasks whenever support is needed.
• Work in line with health and safety procedures to protect yourself and the wider team.
