Role Summary

This contract-based Junior Data Analyst role is located in Tampa, FL and follows a hybrid schedule, combining office presence with work-from-home days. The selected candidate will support business reporting and decision-making by gathering, preparing, and checking data from different sources. The position involves helping create and maintain dashboards and reports, carrying out basic analysis, and spotting patterns or unusual data points with support from senior analysts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and verify data pulled from multiple sources.
• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards and reporting outputs.
• Conduct introductory-level analysis to identify trends, irregularities, and useful insights.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and reporting expectations.
• Document observations, findings, and supporting notes clearly.
• Prepare concise summaries and visual representations of data.

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability to produce basic charts, reports, and visual dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable software.
• Strong analytical reasoning, careful attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, stay organized, and manage several tasks with supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree completed or underway in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Interest in developing new analytics tools and methods; prior internship or project-based data experience is an advantage.
