Role overview
This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Assistant position in Dubai with Bafleh Jewellery. The role is focused on supporting everyday HR activities, keeping employee information accurate, and helping the HR team run smoothly.
Core duties
You will assist with maintaining staff records, handling HR paperwork, and keeping HR databases and HRIS platforms up to date. The position also includes coordination support for recruitment, joining formalities, training arrangements, benefits processes, and payroll-related documents.
In addition, you will help the team stay aligned with company policies and local labour rules, respond to employee questions, prepare HR reports, and provide general administrative support to HR management. The role requires regular coordination with different internal teams and timely handling of HR communications.
Qualifications
- A solid understanding of HR fundamentals, HR management practices, and standard HR policies is needed.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS tools and HR databases for accurate record management is required.
- Knowledge of benefits administration, including document handling, employee support, and coordination with service providers, is important.
- Experience supporting training activities, such as scheduling sessions, maintaining records, and assisting with development initiatives, is preferred.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Good written and spoken English is required; knowledge of additional regional languages is an added advantage.
- Comfort using MS Office or similar software, especially Excel and Word, is necessary for reporting and documentation tasks.
- You should be able to work well with others in a busy environment while handling confidential information responsibly.
- Previous experience in HR or administrative support, ideally in retail, wholesale, or a similar business setting, is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
Additional information
This role also involves supporting compliance with internal procedures and local employment regulations, as well as helping prepare HR-related reports and staff communications.
