About the Location

The role is based at Four Seasons Hotel Doha, a redesigned beachfront retreat in Qatar’s capital. Located in the heart of the business district, the hotel features 237 rooms, 20 unbranded townhouses and villas, a large food and beverage operation with 10 venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, extensive banqueting and outside catering, five pools, a private beach, a fitness centre, and a spa and wellness centre with hydrotherapy facilities such as an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room, and hydrotherapy pool. Originally opened in April 2005, the property was renovated in 2019 and reopened in March 2020.

Role Overview

The Housekeeping Coordinator supports the smooth day-to-day running of housekeeping operations by managing assignments, communication, reporting, and coordination across departments. This position helps ensure rooms are serviced efficiently, guest needs are addressed quickly, and operational information is kept accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assign daily room duties and special cleaning work to housekeeping staff.
  • Track room status updates and keep housekeeping systems current.
  • Receive calls and messages, then route requests to the housekeeping team without delay.
  • Oversee linen, cleaning supply, and guest amenity stock, and assist with reordering when required.
  • Compile daily and monthly management reports covering productivity, lost and found, room status, and related data.
  • Support the training of housekeeping associates on systems and procedures.
  • Follow up on guest requests and complaints connected to housekeeping in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Front Office and Engineering to maintain effective communication and smooth operations.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Applicants should bring prior experience in housekeeping, front office, or administrative support, ideally within hospitality. Strong planning skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to stay organised are important. Good verbal and written communication in English is required, and Arabic would be an advantage. Comfort using Microsoft Office and hotel systems such as Opera, Fidelio, or similar platforms is expected.
