Geologist

Role overview

A multinational mining organization is looking for a Geologist to support exploration activities at site in Indiana, United States. This is a full-time, on-site position and is open to candidates without prior experience, as training will be provided. The role involves hands-on field work, geological data handling, and participation in drilling and exploration programs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out geological studies and field investigations.
• Gather, evaluate, and organize geological data and records.
• Take part in drilling operations and mineral exploration activities.
• Prepare research summaries, reports, and related documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate with other technical specialists, including geophysicists and engineers.

Requirements

• Higher or secondary specialized education in geology, mining, or a closely related discipline.
• No previous work experience is necessary; training will be provided.
• Willingness to travel on business trips and work in field conditions.
• Exposure to geological maps and reports will be considered an advantage.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work well in a team.
