Front Desk Attendant

Role overview

Fitness Formula Clubs is hiring a part-time Front Desk Attendant for its Oak Park location. The right person will be upbeat, dependable, easy to train, and committed to delivering excellent service. This role helps create a welcoming, tidy, and secure experience for everyone visiting the club, while supporting the organization’s values and relationship-focused culture.

Work schedule

This position requires the following shifts: Sundays from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Mondays from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Compensation

Pay is set at $15 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members by name and help set a positive tone from the moment they arrive.
• Register members and guests as they enter the club.
• Serve as a point of contact between prospective or current members and the Membership team.
• Handle incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Respond to member questions, concerns, and complaints, and assist the Membership Experience Manager when needed.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures for the front desk area.
• Accept payments when required and make sure the cash drawer is accurate at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Participate in required department and club-wide meetings.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy space for members, guests, and team members.

Training and culture

FFC requires all employees to complete a comprehensive hospitality training program. The training includes multiple courses that must be finished within the first 90 days of employment, and role-specific training dates will be shared by the manager after joining.
