- Prepare quarterly VAT returns for review by the Finance Manager.
- Work closely with the marketing team to track marketing spend against approved budgets.
- Support commercial administration by issuing contracts for freelancers.
- Assist with annual budgeting activities and help prepare materials for external audits.
Requirements
- Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a comparable finance or accounting position.
- Working toward a professional accounting qualification such as AAT, ACCA, or CIMA is beneficial, though not essential.
- Strong familiarity with finance tools, especially spend management platforms such as Spendesk and accounting software like Xero, is highly desirable.
- Advanced Excel ability is required.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to identify discrepancies in invoices or reconciliations.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with a mix of routine duties and ad hoc projects.
- A proactive approach and the ability to improve processes are important.
Benefits
- Annual salary of £31,000 to £34,000, depending on experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement with three days per week spent in the London office and the remainder worked remotely.
- Access to mentorship and guidance from experienced finance professionals.
