Role overview
Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking an Estates Technician to join its Strategy and Information Team. The position focuses on maintaining accurate property information and handling related financial processes, supporting the council’s wider work across local government services.
Employment details
- This is a fixed-term post for 12 months.
- The role is full time, with a 37-hour working week.
- The base location is County Hall, West Bridgford, NG2 7QP.
- Working arrangements are hybrid.
- There are 2 vacancies.

What you will do
In this post, you will support the management of property records and help ensure data quality across the authority. You will also contribute to projects linked to local government reorganisation and take part in larger-scale data work involving the council’s property portfolio.
- Maintain and coordinate property data, working with teams across the organisation.
- Support and lead data-related projects connected to local government reorganisation.
- Carry out broader property data projects to improve control, accuracy, and clarity.
What we are looking for
The council is looking for someone with practical administrative and technical capability, plus the confidence to work across different teams and manage tasks independently when needed.
- A solid level of literacy and numeracy.
- Strong IT skills, including competence with Microsoft Office.
- A valid driving licence and the ability to drive vehicles.
- Understanding of property management and data systems.
- Good customer care and communication skills.
- The ability to work well alone and collaboratively.

Additional information
Salary is £34,434 to £39,152 per annum. This post may also be taken as a secondment by existing Nottinghamshire County Council staff, subject to approval from the line manager before applying.
