About the Company

The company holds IAS accreditation in the USA and CSA-A660 certification in Canada, and produces rigid frame clear-span as well as multiple-span building systems in a wide range of sizes.
The organization is expanding and is seeking a reliable, motivated professional to join its Drafting Department in the role of Drafter.
What You Will Do
- Prepare layout, fabrication, erection, and material inventory drawings for metal building parts and components.
- Apply company drafting standards, product specifications, and drafting procedures while working on projects of easy to moderate complexity.
- Produce accurate parts and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD along with proprietary company software so manufacturing teams can use them effectively.
- Create erection drawings with AutoCAD and internal software to support contractors during installation of metal building components.
- Build bills of materials using company software to generate shipping lists for plant operations and customers.
- Develop permit, approval, and construction drawings in AutoCAD and proprietary tools in line with purchase order requirements.
What You Need
- Prior experience working with AutoCAD is required.
- You should be dependable, self-driven, and comfortable performing with limited supervision.
- A positive mindset, willingness to learn, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
