About the Role
This position is for a Data Entry Associate supporting the Order Department in Dallas, near the Garland area. The role is strictly office-based, so the selected candidate must be available to work onsite. This is not a remote or work-from-home opportunity.
Schedule and Pay
- Workdays are Monday through Friday.
- Working hours are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Compensation is $17.50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter customer and account information from source documents accurately and within tight deadlines.
- Compile, verify, and sort data before inputting it into systems.
- Check records for missing details or mistakes, correct inconsistencies, and confirm the final output is accurate.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams by phone or email to support order processing and respond to questions.
- Work independently, organize priorities, and stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Take inbound calls when needed and deliver courteous, professional customer support.
- Handle documents, create purchase orders, prepare shortage reports or reselections, and keep records complete and up to date.
- Monitor orders to ensure they are completed on time, and notify the relevant teams about any delays or issues.
- Follow up daily on incomplete information and update accounts once missing details are received.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and comfort using common programs such as MS Office, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational ability in a fast-moving, multitask-heavy environment.
- Good grammar and punctuation skills.
- Proven typing speed and data entry experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt quickly, and handle time-sensitive work.
- Capacity to work independently and learn quickly.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Punctual, dependable, and reliable.
