Role overview

Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is looking for a motivated Data Analyst to support government clients from the DC Metro Area. In this role, you will produce analyses, reports, and visual dashboards that help inform client decisions and improve operations.

The position sits within Capgemini’s Data and Artificial Intelligence practice. The company emphasizes ongoing professional growth and provides learning support through internal training resources as well as Coursera and Degreed partnerships. Team leaders also work with employees to define career direction and development goals.

What you will do

• Deliver business intelligence outputs, analytical insights, key metrics, and recurring or ad hoc reporting.
• Use tools such as MS Excel, Access, Power BI, and Tableau to build reports, data analyses, and visualizations.
• Turn policy goals and strategic priorities into quantitative analysis and investigative research.
• Contribute to process design, process improvement, development work, and end-user adoption.
• Assist with project management tasks and coordination.

What is required

• You must be a U.S. citizen.
• You need to be eligible to obtain and keep a government security clearance.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area is preferred, such as business intelligence, accounting, finance, information systems, computer science, statistics, information management, mathematics, operations research, engineering, business, analytics, or a similar discipline.
• You should be highly proficient with standard desktop software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
• You should be comfortable using visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Tableau CRM.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills are required.
• You should bring curiosity and the ability to improve speed and effectiveness when taking on new work.
• You must be able to manage multiple priorities and remain adaptable in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred background

Current DHS, DOD, or DOJ clearance is preferred.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for the Washington, DC location is $60,000 to $85,000 per year. The role may also qualify for additional variable pay, bonus, or commission depending on business and performance factors.
