Role Summary

The Customer Service Representative will deliver a strong support experience to existing and prospective eFax customers. This role requires enthusiasm, energy, and a genuine customer-first mindset. Prior call center experience is not mandatory, but a solid background in customer service is essential.

You will handle inquiries by phone and email, including login support, account updates, setup assistance, technical troubleshooting, cancellation requests, plan questions, billing concerns, and general service support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify newly registered accounts so they can be activated in line with geo-compliance requirements.
  • Provide prompt, high-quality support and escalate complaints or complex issues when needed.
  • Work to retain customers who contact the team to cancel their service.
  • Respond to customer questions about their accounts and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Build and maintain working knowledge of the company’s products, services, policies, and procedures.
  • Reach out to customers when necessary to collect payments or update payment details.
  • Record inbound and outbound calls accurately and keep system notes and tracking data current.
  • Use available information effectively to investigate and resolve customer issues.
  • Share suggestions and improvement ideas with the team supervisor.
  • Communicate fluently in English and one additional EU language, both spoken and written.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned, requested, or needed; the company may adjust responsibilities over time.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, plus fluency in another EU language.
  • A friendly, professional, polite, and enthusiastic approach with a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail, good follow-up habits, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Comfort using a PC and common Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus.
  • Strong soft skills such as empathy, patience, calmness, positivity, and active listening.

Additional Information

This is a fully remote position for candidates located within Ireland. The role may involve up to 10% travel.

The working schedule is Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 9:00pm GMT.
