The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for dependable, enthusiastic cleaners to join the team in Yamanto, Queensland. The role suits someone who enjoys a busy work environment, takes pride in detail, and helps maintain clean and inviting spaces for customers and clients.

This is a part-time position with shifts across weekdays and weekends. Pay will be in line with award wages.

Roster

Scheduled hours are Monday to Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard.
• Clean upholstery and other furnishings as required.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean toilets and bathroom areas.
• Collect and remove rubbish.
• Wash internal and external glass surfaces.
• Dust all hard surfaces.
• Scrub floors as needed.
• Operate and clean travelators.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will bring commercial cleaning experience, preferably from a similar environment, along with a proven ability to work well in a team. You should be able to follow direction, work independently when needed, and maintain a strong focus on quality, reliability, and punctuality.

A valid driver’s licence is required. You should also have good customer service skills, a solid understanding of Work Health and Safety practices, and the flexibility to work public holidays and varied hours when necessary. Experience using floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, or sweepers will be considered an advantage.
