About the Nursery

Kiddi Caru Exeter, part of Grandir UK, is hiring a caring and upbeat Early Years Assistant for its Sowton nursery. The role sits within a child-centred environment where you will help nurture children, spark curiosity and support their day-to-day development. Pay

What the Role Involves

You will support the care, supervision and development of children in the nursery, working closely with qualified practitioners and helping maintain a positive, welcoming setting.

  • Act as a positive role model in line with Grandir UK values.
  • Help ensure equal access and opportunity for staff, parents and children.
  • Keep children supervised and supported at all times.
  • Contribute to a warm, attractive and inviting nursery environment.
  • Prepare and help oversee activities under the direction of Level 3 qualified practitioners.
  • Follow company policies, procedures and day-to-day operating practices.
  • Adapt to updates in policies and procedures within the required timeframe.
  • Make sure nursery practice meets Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
  • Escalate concerns or issues about policies, procedures or operational practices to your line manager.
  • Maintain a professional, positive approach with children, parents, visitors and colleagues.

  • Take part in staff meetings, planning sessions and training when required.
