About the company
TrackPoint.ai is an AI-powered communication training platform used by corporate learning and development teams and universities. It helps replace traditional roleplay-style training with realistic AI simulations. Well-known organizations and institutions, including Deloitte, Bain & Company, and the University of Saskatchewan, are already using the product.
The company has validated the product through founder-led selling and is now focused on building a repeatable pipeline. This role is central to that effort.
Role overview
This position works directly with the founder to identify the right prospects, spark interest, and secure meetings. The role is focused on outbound prospecting and moving conversations forward.
Key responsibilities
- Research and target L&D leaders, VP Sales executives, and university program directors who may benefit from TrackPoint.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through email and LinkedIn, with cold calling added once ramped up.
- Join discovery calls and learn the sales approach through live conversations.
- Keep outreach activity organized so follow-ups and next steps do not get missed.
- Share customer feedback and objections with the product team to help improve positioning and messaging.
The bulk of the day will be spent executing cold outreach campaigns, along with follow-up work and live conversations.
Candidate profile
The company is looking for someone who has completed post-secondary education with a diploma or degree and has 0 to 4 years of experience. Prior sales experience is not required.
This role has a hard eligibility requirement tied to a federal government program: applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents and must be under 30 years of age.
Ideal candidates have experience pushing through rejection to achieve results, whether from a sales role, fundraising, door-to-door work, club sports, or a similar setting. Strong written communication is important, especially the ability to write emails that feel natural and personal rather than templated.
