Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician with Audi background to join a leading dealership environment in Auckland. This role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to work with a supportive team while contributing to a premium vehicle franchise.

The position covers both combustion and EV/HV platforms, giving you exposure to modern automotive technology in a fast-moving workshop setting.

Key duties

• Carry out diagnostics, servicing and mechanical repairs on vehicles
• Perform repair and maintenance tasks in line with the repair order, dealership standards and brand specifications
• Follow checklists and quality assurance procedures carefully
• Road test vehicles after repairs to confirm work quality
• Work efficiently and maintain productivity benchmarks
• Stay current with compulsory factory training requirements

Candidate profile

• Fully qualified Automotive Technician
• At least 4 years of experience in a dealership franchise environment
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills
• Valid, clean driver’s licence
• Good problem-solving ability and the capability to prioritise work effectively
• A consistent commitment to high-quality workmanship
