Architectural Technologist

About the Role

DVS Development Ltd is expanding its Technical Design team and is hiring an Architectural Technologist to support major hyperscale data centre projects across Ireland and Europe. The role sits within a multidisciplinary environment focused on BIM Level 2 delivery, using modern digital design workflows from technical design stage through to construction support and digital handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Create coordinated architectural technical designs and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare precise, construction-ready drawings, details, schedules, and setting-out information.
• Compile and coordinate technical submittals for client and contractor assessment.
• Revise Revit models to reflect approved products, submittals, and site construction needs.
• Collaborate with the BIM team to deliver aligned models and information through LOD/LOI 500.
• Develop architectural packages covering ceilings, partitions and drylining, fire barriers and fire stopping, internal doors, floor finishes, joinery and furniture, plus other specialist fit-out systems.
• Liaise with project teams, suppliers, and clients to maintain technical compliance and support successful delivery.

Requirements

• A degree in Architectural Technology, or a qualification of similar standing.
• At least 3 years of post-graduation experience in Architectural Technology, Technical Design, or Architectural BIM delivery.
• Strong Autodesk Revit skills, backed by a minimum of 3 years' practical experience producing technical construction documentation and coordinated BIM models.
• Hands-on experience on BIM Level 2 projects within a collaborative Common Data Environment; experience with ACC is beneficial.
• Solid knowledge of architectural detailing, building regulations, fire protection and acoustic requirements, and construction methods.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving ability.
• Experience in data centre, commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects would be an advantage.
