Role Summary

The Accountant will handle routine financial operations, maintain accurate books of accounts, and support reporting activities that help the business monitor performance and control costs. The position involves working closely with operations and management teams to provide financial clarity, strengthen controls, and support compliance.

Key Duties

In this role, you will record financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and prepare financial statements and management reports. You will also manage accounts payable and receivable, carry out bank reconciliations, track cash movements, and help ensure that financial records are complete and timely.

The position also contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities related to facility management operations. In addition, the Accountant supports audit preparation, assists in improving internal controls, and helps ensure compliance with accounting standards, company procedures, and applicable Saudi regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial accounting, ledger management, and preparation of financial statements. Practical experience with payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, and cash flow monitoring is important.

Applicants should be comfortable using accounting software and ERP platforms, and should have advanced Excel abilities such as formulas and pivot tables. A good understanding of relevant accounting standards and local financial regulations in Saudi Arabia is also expected.

The role calls for someone with strong attention to detail, solid numerical skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required, while professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are considered a plus. Experience in facilities management, property management, or a service-based business is preferred.
