Nurtured Talent Network is the talent and recruiting arm of Nurtured. The team partners with startups and growing businesses to find outstanding go-to-market professionals across sales, customer success, recruiting, marketing, revenue operations, and leadership functions.
Unlike general recruiting agencies, the focus here is solely on GTM hiring. The team works closely with founders and revenue leaders, supporting companies from their earliest hires through the buildout of full revenue organizations.
Role Overview
Nurtured Talent Network is seeking an entrepreneurial Account Executive to expand its client base. In this role, you will identify, connect with, and close startup founders and business leaders who need help hiring go-to-market talent.
You will speak with CEOs, founders, CROs, Heads of Sales, and hiring managers to learn about their hiring needs and present Nurtured’s recruiting and talent solutions. This is not a standard SaaS sales position; the focus is on selling business outcomes by helping companies hire better, faster, and at the right time.
The ideal candidate is comfortable building a pipeline, running discovery conversations, managing a sales process end to end, and closing new business independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and contact startup founders, CEOs, and hiring managers to create new business opportunities
- Develop and maintain your own prospect pipeline
- Lead discovery conversations to understand hiring pain points and growth plans
- Showcase Nurtured Talent Network’s recruiting and talent offerings
- Move opportunities from first conversation through to signed agreement
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date, including sales activity tracking
- Work closely with Nurtured leadership on go-to-market strategy
- Build relationships across startup, venture, and founder communities
- Contribute to improving messaging, positioning, and sales processes as the business expands
Ideal Candidate Profile
You may be a strong match if you have experience in Account Executive, Business Development, Recruiting, Staffing, or Consulting sales roles, and have successfully closed deals in a commission-based environment. You should be comfortable talking with founders and senior leaders, managing the full sales cycle, and working with a high degree of independence.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 2 years of closing experience
- Background in selling recruiting, staffing, professional services, consulting, or SaaS offerings
- Experience working with startups or venture-backed businesses
- Exposure to outbound prospecting and founder-led sales environments
- Ability to work independently while managing several opportunities at the same time
Compensation
This position is fully commission-based, with earnings tied to performance and closed business. Commission details will be shared during the interview process. There is no earnings cap.

This is a remote role. Candidates based in the United States are preferred.
