AI Logistics Automation & Tracking (Python/Backend) Internship

About the internship

This remote internship is focused on building backend automation for logistics and shipment tracking. You will work on tools that help capture consignment details from images, monitor shipment progress across transport portals, and send timely updates through messaging integrations.

What you will work on

• Create an upload flow for LR and consignment document images.
• Use OCR to pull out LR numbers and shipment-related information from uploaded files.
• Set up automated tracking across different transport company websites.
• Periodically fetch shipment updates and keep the status current.
• Connect WhatsApp alerts so status changes are sent automatically.
• Manage the shipment database along with historical tracking records.
• Write Python-based backend automation scripts to support the workflow.

Eligibility

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 23rd Jun'26 and 28th Jul'26, and commit to the full 1-month duration. Candidates should have relevant skills and genuine interest in the work. Computer Science Engineering students are specifically mentioned as eligible. Stipend

Other requirements

• Experience with OCR tools such as Tesseract or Google Vision API.
• Working knowledge of FastAPI or Flask.
• Ability to use Google Sheets API or SQL databases.
• Familiarity with WhatsApp Cloud API.
