Warehouse Operator

Role overview

This is a permanent warehouse operator position based in Witham, Essex, within a respected British manufacturing and production business. The role suits someone who already has background experience in warehouse or logistics work and wants to build on those skills in a stable, established company.

Location and working pattern

The job is based on-site in Witham. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 5:15pm, with the choice of either 39 hours or 47.5 hours per week.

Pay and contract

This is a permanent role with an annual salary of £27,540 to £33,542.

Key duties

• Keep the logistics area clean, tidy, and well organised at all times.
• Make sure stock is moved in line with internal procedures and wider industry expectations.
• Follow technical processes correctly and keep up-to-date with any procedure changes.
• Carry out product testing when required and document the results accurately.
• Maintain high hygiene standards across day-to-day work.
• Watch for unsafe behaviour or conditions and act quickly to reduce risk within the team.
