Visual Designer (Web)

About the Role

Atomic Health is a digital design studio that partners with organizations working where healthcare meets technology, creating strong brands, products, and experiences. In this role, you will shape client web presence through polished visual design and digital storytelling. You will collaborate closely with designers, art directors, web developers, and strategists to produce work that stands out in the digital health space.

What You’ll Do

• Lead visual design for website experiences from early concepts through final launch, covering homepages, product pages, case-study pages, and campaign landing pages.
• Turn brand direction into clear visual systems that work consistently across web and digital channels.
• Apply a UX-aware approach to layout and interaction, with attention to hierarchy, flow, and how people navigate a page.
• Review and refine designs based on client and internal feedback quickly and accurately.
• Help develop brand systems for the web, including identity elements, typography, color palettes, and reusable component libraries.
• Manage work across several active clients and projects while keeping quality high and meeting deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• A portfolio that is strongly web-focused, including full website designs, landing pages, brand-to-web systems, and digital storytelling examples; standout brand identity work is a plus.
• At least 5 years of design experience, including substantial web and digital work in a creative agency or design studio environment.
• A systems-first mindset rather than a one-off asset approach.
• Advanced Figma skills and solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to design with both brand strategy and user experience in mind.
• Availability during EST working hours; candidates based in the United States are preferred.
• Authentic interest in healthcare and health technology.
• No degree requirement; the portfolio is the key factor.
