Role overview

This position is with SP+, part of Metropolis Technologies, a real-world AI company that uses computer vision to power ticketless parking. The aim is to make parking faster and more convenient by removing the need for tickets, kiosks, apps, or credit cards. The company operates one of the largest parking networks in the United States, supporting mobility at more than 4,000 locations across North America and Europe.

The organization is focused on transforming parking and expanding checkout-free experiences in everyday life so people can spend more time on what matters.

What you will do

• Represent the service promise by handling customer requests and concerns promptly, communicating clearly, and looking for effective solutions when issues come up.
• Check each vehicle carefully before parking it and record any observations.
• Inform customers about valet pricing.
• Follow traffic rules and drive with safety as the top priority.
• Escalate accidents, safety risks, unusual incidents, and policy breaches to supervisors.
• Use knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and highways to help provide a smooth customer experience.
• Arrive in a clean uniform, on time, and prepared for every scheduled shift.
• Stay in full uniform throughout the shift.
• Support managers with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid state driver’s license, a current address, and a driving record that meets company standards.
• Being able to operate a manual transmission vehicle is considered an advantage.
• Must be available for special schedules when required, including second shift, third shift, and weekends.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and be able to provide valid documents if hired.
• Should be able to give accurate information to customers and colleagues and handle complaints in a professional manner.
• Must be able to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency and understand instructions, short emails, and memos.
• Should be able to follow written and spoken directions and remain composed when schedules, conditions, or tasks change unexpectedly.
• Physical requirements include regular standing, walking, and handling cash and equipment; occasional sitting and climbing/balancing; and occasionally lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Compensation and benefits

The hourly pay rate is $10.98 plus tips. This position is tip-eligible in addition to the base hourly wage.
