About the role
Boots Ireland is hiring a pharmacist in Maynooth, County Kildare to deliver high-quality patient and customer care. The role goes beyond handing out medicines; it also involves offering professional guidance, reassurance, and trusted clinical support.
Key responsibilities
- Support the pharmacy plan by delivering expert advice and patient-focused care.
- Make sound legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy environment.
- Help strengthen the pharmacy skills and capability of the store team.
- Carry out ongoing checks, including audits, observations, and risk reviews, to keep customer and patient safety central.
- Provide a variety of professional pharmacy services.
What you will need
The ideal candidate should be caring, professional, and committed to excellent patient care. You should also be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), be well regarded by colleagues, patients, customers, stakeholders, and local professionals, and bring strong expertise in community pharmacy.
A collaborative mindset is important, along with solid knowledge of pharmacy operations and both national and local service provision. Clear communication skills are essential, especially the ability to put people at ease and respond to different customer and patient needs.
