About the company and mission

Arc is working to modernize the marine industry by bringing electric power, new software, and redesigned vessels to a space that has seen little technological change for decades. The company began by building and refining its core technology for consumer use, and is now ramping up production of its flagship product while also expanding into commercial and defense applications such as tugs and ferries. With signed contracts and a broad pipeline across many vessel types, Arc is building the platform for the marine industry’s electric transition.

Role overview

This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity based at Arc’s Los Angeles headquarters in Torrance, California. The selected candidate will report to the Supply Chain Lead and should be energized by fast-paced execution, ownership, and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders for parts and services, monitor outstanding orders, and help ensure materials arrive on time to support production and R&D.
• Source and evaluate new supplier partners while continuing to build productive relationships with current vendors.
• Spot supply risks that could affect production timelines and develop practical mitigation plans.
• Maintain master data for parts and planning so lead times, manufacturing allocations, yields, attrition, alternatives, ordering rules, and related settings remain accurate.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute as a collaborative member focused on company-wide outcomes.

Minimum qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar discipline is required. Candidates should also be comfortable using everyday business tools such as spreadsheets, email, and planning systems, and be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Preferred background

Additional value will be given to candidates with experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment, strong organization and prioritization skills, familiarity with SQL and MRP systems, the ability to read engineering drawings, and an interest in boating and time on the water.

Compensation and benefits

The salary range is organized into three levels: P1 at $90,000, P2 at $110,000, and P3 at $135,000. Full-time employees also receive strong equity grants and semi-annual bonuses based on impact.
