Shift Manager

Role purpose

In this position, you will help the General Manager keep shifts running smoothly while supporting the restaurant’s sales, profit, guest experience, and team performance goals. You will be part of the Corporate Field Operations team, working to deliver strong service for guests, franchisees, and team members and to help the restaurant remain a top choice for both customers and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales and profit growth by encouraging guest satisfaction and overseeing restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Bring concerns, issues, or recommendations about the restaurant, staff, or guests to the General Manager when needed.
• Make sure company policies and operating procedures are followed throughout each shift.
• Train team members on company processes, policies, procedures, and guest service standards.
• Address customer complaints and report policy or procedure violations appropriately.
• Help maintain a restaurant environment that is safe, clean, and enjoyable for both employees and guests.

Experience and fit

The ideal candidate has 1 to 2 years of restaurant management experience, with quick service restaurant exposure preferred. You should be comfortable using basic math, able to work flexible schedules and extended hours, and bring the energy needed for a busy, fast-moving setting. A strong commitment to integrity, service, excellence, and bold growth is also important.
