Shift Leader - Internal

Role overview

Sprout & Co is looking for an internal Shift Leader who can set the tone for the restaurant during service. In this position, you will guide the team from the front, keep operations running smoothly, and help create an environment that customers enjoy returning to and employees enjoy working in.

The role reports to the Restaurant Leader and is offered as a full-time contract.

Pay is €15 to €16 per hour, based on experience and the responsibilities assigned.

Key duties

• Lead service on the floor by supporting communication, teamwork, and shift coordination across the restaurant.
• Deliver strong guest experiences and help resolve concerns so problems can be turned into positive outcomes.
• Strengthen team relationships, encourage open feedback, and contribute to a constructive, upbeat workplace.
• Identify performance gaps, share feedback in the moment, and support continuous improvement.
• Recognise excellent work and help build a culture where achievements are noticed and appreciated.
• Take ownership of the restaurant’s presentation, including cleanliness, fridge displays, and the overall atmosphere.
• Collect customer feedback and ensure it is acted on appropriately.
• Track customer experience indicators such as NPS and use trends to support improvements.
• Act as a health and safety role model and support compliance across the shift.
• Check portioning, preparation, and presentation standards to keep product quality consistent.

• Good English skills are needed so you can communicate clearly with both team members and customers.

• Prior experience is required: at least 3 months working with Sprout.
• You should be eager to learn, build leadership capability, and grow your career within Sprout.
• A positive, reliable attitude and strong ownership of responsibilities are essential.
