Senior Software Engineer

Role overview

This role is for a Senior Software Engineer supporting the Go-to-Market Systems team. You will work remotely and should be available from any supported country location, with overlap to U.S. working hours. Preference is given to candidates who can align with EST hours. If needed, questions can be directed to the program team.

Compensation note

The previously shown bill rate should be disregarded. The highest payable rate for this role is USD 40.38 per hour.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications that are efficient, reusable, and dependable, using Python, JavaScript-based technologies such as Node.js and React, and other common programming languages.
• Work with cross-functional partners to shape application architecture, data models, and secure, high-performance APIs.
• Produce clean, well-documented, and well-tested code, while contributing to code reviews, guiding junior and mid-level engineers, and promoting strong engineering practices.
• Help maintain CI/CD pipelines, support cloud-based infrastructure in AWS or GCP, and use tools like Docker and Kubernetes to enable smooth releases.
• Investigate and fix difficult issues involving performance, security, and production defects.
• Create and manage integrations across internal tools, external services, and databases so that data moves accurately and systems stay in sync.

What we are looking for

We are seeking a highly capable engineer with strong experience in modern software delivery and business application development. The ideal professional is self-directed, comfortable handling complex requirements, and able to turn them into scalable technical solutions.

Required experience and qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of software engineering experience gained in a fast-moving technology environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python and related frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript, along with frameworks and ecosystems such as Node.js, React, Vue, or Angular.
• Practical experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid background in designing and working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Comfort using testing frameworks and version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

Additional information

This is a contract role. The work is remote, but candidates must be able to overlap with U.S. business hours, preferably Eastern Time. The role is open to flexible contractors based in supported country locations.
